A multi-layer view that puts layers over the top of each other for alignment checking

Our embedded viewer (see the blog) does a very basic version of this, and has been popular. Should we add it to the main viewer as well?

        Yes. That would be really nice since it can be hard to tell your silk is lined up and whatnot.

        Yes. This basically becomes an online gerber view than. That would be great.

        Need ability to turn each layer on or off. ViewMate also has a nice feature to turn all off but one. I miss this in gerbv. Also toggle ON/OFF state of each layer all at once with one button click.

        It should also have configurable and sticky layer colours. That way I can set it up so layers have the same colour as my CAD tool. That is a big beef with the other gerber viewers is that they give me different colours. Maybe there's a way to configure it but I think you need the paid version to get it.
