We want to make your boards work on the first try, and we know the community can help. CircuitPeople.com is all about “collaborative design review” and we’re looking to add the features and fixes that a reality. What can we do that will help support getting your designs in front of peers, gather their comments, and help find the right solutions? Let us know!

      • Render NC Drill Files

        Gerbers are useless without drilling files. So rendering the drill holes is also a needed step.

          We have support for rendering NC drill files in the email autoresponder, and will get it out to the website as soon as possible.

        • Panelize my design

          Let me download Gerber files for my design laid out on a grid for manufacturing as panels.

          • A multi-layer view that puts layers over the top of each other for alignment checking

            Our embedded viewer (see the blog) does a very basic version of this, and has been popular. Should we add it to the main viewer as well?

            • Scale Printing

              More than a few of the images we create end up being used for toner-transfer PCB making by enthusiasts. Scale printing would help save some steps.

                For reliable scale printed I’ve added a simple Silverlight viewer to CPI as a beta test. If you’d like to give it a try, please let me know by email.

              • Better website performance outside the US

                We know more than half the visitors to our site come from outside the US. How much does that experience need to be improved? We can take some steps to use technologies that put our site "closer" to you, wherever you are in the world.
